Welcome to Snow Bounty. By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or any of our services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

Snow Bounty is a platform that connects individuals who need snow removal services ("Bounty Posters") with individuals who provide snow removal services ("Bounty Hunters"). We facilitate these connections but are not directly involved in the snow removal services themselves.

2.1 Platform Role

Snow Bounty acts solely as an intermediary platform. We do not:

• Employ or supervise Bounty Hunters
• Guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided
• Guarantee the accuracy of listings or user information
• Serve as an employer, agent, or insurer for any user

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be at least 18 years old to create an account

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Snow Bounty is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Spam or send unsolicited communications
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Collect or harvest user data without consent
• Create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes

5. Bounties and Payments

5.1 Posting Bounties

When posting a bounty, you agree to:

• Provide accurate descriptions of the work required
• Set fair and reasonable compensation
• Pay the agreed-upon amount upon satisfactory completion
• Communicate promptly with Bounty Hunters

5.2 Accepting Bounties

When accepting a bounty, you agree to:

• Complete the work as described in the bounty listing
• Perform services safely and responsibly
• Communicate any issues or delays promptly
• Maintain appropriate insurance and legal compliance for your activities

5.3 Payment Disputes

Snow Bounty may, at its discretion, help mediate payment disputes between users. However, we are not obligated to resolve disputes and are not responsible for any losses resulting from transactions between users.

6. Safety and Liability

6.1 Physical Safety

Snow removal can be physically demanding and potentially dangerous. Users engage in these activities at their own risk. We strongly recommend:

• Bounty Hunters carry appropriate insurance
• All users take proper safety precautions
• Users verify the identity of those they interact with
• Meeting in public or well-lit areas when possible

6.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SNOW BOUNTY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Snow Bounty and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. However, by submitting content, you grant Snow Bounty a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, and display that content in connection with operating and improving the Service.

You are solely responsible for your content and represent that you have all necessary rights to share it.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Snow Bounty, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Snow Bounty operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
